Firsts
Meet the life you already have in a way you haven’t before.
Firsts is a growing body of work about attention, action, relationship, and spiritual practice. Firsts.Today is the place to experience it right now.
What is a First?
A First is an invitation to do something—not simply think about it.
It may be something entirely new, or a different way of entering something familiar.
Give me a First ↗The larger idea
Spirituality through action.
Firsts begins with a simple conviction: we can enter ordinary life differently. Sometimes that means doing something genuinely new. Sometimes it means paying attention to something familiar in a way we have not before.
The invitations are intentionally practical. They are not tests, achievements, or content to perform for somebody else. The point is to act, notice what happens, and let experience teach something that thinking alone may not.
Firsts.Today is free and built for exactly that: choose an invitation, do it, and see what opens.

The Book of Firsts
I originally put The Book of Firsts together for Allison and me to use. Somewhere along the way, my fear about economic insecurity told me I should try to turn it into something that could help support us financially.
That hasn’t sat well with me.
I was freely given a new way of life, and I simply cannot put a price tag on what I’ve been given. So the complete book is here to download for free. No signup. No catch.
If you would rather have a physical copy you can write in and keep, send me an email. I’ll be glad to mail you one.
